The black stuff? No, I’m not talking about Guinness. Coffee! I know I drink too much of it normally, but this is more of a note to self, to remind me to start cutting down from now as the trail running season approaches, so that in a long race overnight(s) that I get the full benefit of the caffeine hit. Last year I struggled in the second night of the UTMB, as I didn’t get enough coffee down my neck to keep alert. This year I won’t be making the same mistake again.
